What is a subscription based software service?

The fabricator pays per square foot of material templated. There are no investment costs, annual fees or maintenance fees. We earn your business every day on every job. The measuring specialist, whether in-house or subcontractor, purchases the equipment needed at a price which is below our cost.

What is a Measuring Specialist?

This is an independent contractor who is trained by InnoDraw and works with InnoDraw. He is responsible for all of his fabricator accounts. He charges a price per square foot to measure the fabricator’s jobs. InnoDraw collects all fees and pays the Measuring Specialist. All contracts are between the fabricator and InnoDraw.
A fabricator can designate an employee as a Measuring Specialist and pay InnoDraw an agreed-upon fee for this arrangement.

What if the Measuring Specialist makes a mistake?

We hope that never happens but it could. We guarantee the accuracy of our templates within the tolerances and directions given to us by the fabricator. Should an error occur that is our fault, we will work with the fabricator to absorb the appropriate costs.

What equipment is needed?

Everything needed is shown here in this 2’ x 2’ space. It takes approximately two minutes to set up the equipment and begin templating. The measuring specialist could work in an evening gown or tuxedo! There is no need to remove existing tops in a remodel situation.

How long does it take to measure a job?

The average job takes 30-45 minutes to measure; some jobs take as little as 10-15 minutes. The system's software provides for verification of measurements which ensures accuracy.

Why should I use a digital system?

Accuracy, productivity and profitability are all increased. The input information does not change unlike physical templates which may be distorted. Less time is needed in the shop for reassembling templates and digitizing items for machines. The measurement files are sent by email via cellular modem or internet to the InnoDraw server and then to your shop within seconds. . Because the measurements are so precise, the installations are cleaner, often “lick & stick” with little or no field adjustments necessary.

What if I want my own employees to template?

Your designated employees can become in-house measuring specialists once you purchase the equipment (below cost) and InnoDraw trains them. InnoDraw is paid an agreed-upon fee for this arrangement.

How do I get the template information from the job to my shop equipment (CNC, bridgesaw or water jet cutting)?

We supply the fabricator with software at no charge and train the measuring specialist (inside or subcontractor) as well as your in-house CAD specialist. After the measurements are taken, the information is transmitted to your office for final approval, seam location and preview. You then send it back through the InnoDraw server which converts the files to DXF files which you then import to your cutting equipment directly. This process takes only seconds.

What is the cost?

There is no upfront cost to the fabricator. At this time, the equipment cost is $6,000 for the measuring specialist. There is no charge for the training, technical support or upgrades.

What if I want to buy the system for my employees’ use?

We do not sell the system. A fabricator may purchase the equipment, have an employee trained and pay InnoDraw an agreed-upon fee based on the square footage of each template.

I don’t have CNC or computer cutting equipment in my shop. How can InnoDraw help me?

After the Measuring Specialist measures the job, a mylar or paper template is generated by a plotter and it’s ready for pickup or overnight shipment to you. Additional charges apply.

What happens if I terminate my relationship with InnoDraw?

There is no penalty whatsoever to terminate. InnoDraw earns your business job by job.
